Businesses across the Borderplex region will have the opportunity to connect with government agencies and procurement officials during the Cooperative Purchasing Expo hosted by the City of El Paso on April 8, 2026 at the El Paso Convention Center.

The annual event is designed to help businesses learn how to work with public agencies while expanding their networking opportunities with city, county, education, and government partners.

A Day of Learning and Business Connections

The expo will feature workshops and sessions led by representatives from the City of El Paso, county offices, school districts, colleges and universities, and other strategic community partners. These sessions are aimed at helping businesses better understand procurement processes and how to successfully compete for government contracts.

Attendees will also have access to a large exhibitor hall showcasing more than 200 exhibitors, including small and large businesses, cooperative purchasing organizations, government agencies, and resource partners.

Keynote Speaker and Networking Opportunities

The event will include a keynote presentation from Dan Thurmon, who will share insights focused on leadership and business growth.

Organizers say the expo offers valuable opportunities for both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Agency networking, allowing participants to build connections that can lead to future partnerships and contracts.

Free and Open to the Public

The Cooperative Purchasing Expo is free and open to the public, making it accessible to entrepreneurs, small business owners, and organizations interested in working with government entities.
