waterscheduling
What this means for your landscape
Our Conservation Ordinance isn’t just policy. It’s your guide to keeping El Paso beautiful while protecting our water future. Strategic irrigation times are in place during summer months to help your plants thrive while reducing evaporation loss. A targeted year-round watering schedule is used to ensure every resident gets their fair share while being able to maintain outdoor spaces.
The Conservation Ordinance allows for watering three times per week, but it is often better to water less frequently. Download seasonal watering recommendations and watering depths for mature plants, to encourage root growth and optimal plant health.
